Objetivos: 
  1. Introducir las claves fundamentales de la filosofía de la técnica.
  2. Trazar las líneas fundamentales para elaborar una teología de la técnica.
  3. Conocer el desarrollo histórico, situación actual y perspectivas de futuro de las llamadas fronteras tecnológicas o tecnologías emergentes. Especialmente las relacionadas con la inteligencia artificial (IA), transhumanismo y robótica.
  4. Estudiar la dimensión religiosa presente en el desarrollo de las tecnologías emergentes.
  5. Plantear los retos teológicos que suponen la IA, la robótica y el transhumanismo.
  6. Estudiar las implicaciones y desafíos que estas fronteras tecnológicas presentan para la transmisión de la fe en la sociedad del presente y el futuro. Evangelización y catequesis del hombre tecnológico.
Métodos docentes: 

Combinación de clase magistral y participativa. El texto base para las clases será el libro: Anne Foerst. Dimensión religiosa de la búsqueda de inteligencia artificial (Col·lectània Sant Pacià 113), Barcelona: Facultad de Teología de Cataluña 2016. Se utilizarán también otros textos de diversos autores para complementar algunos temas. Así como recursos en la red y vídeos de diferente tipo.  

Evaluación

Convocatoria ordinaria:
Evaluación. Se evaluará mediante dos trabajos. Uno en el cual el alumno aborde uno de los temas de clase, elegido por el propio alumno. Y otro trabajo en el cual el alumno comente críticamente algún artículo de los que se propondrán en clase.

Idiomas. Se admitirán trabajos en los siguientes idiomas: castellano, inglés, catalán y francés.

Convocatoria extraordinaria: Para aprobar en la convocatoria extraordinaria será necesario realizar un examen que comprenderá el temario completo del curso.
